Sojourner's Place

fox news busted by huffington post!

Posted by SjP in , ,

The truth is out! Huffington Post's Stan Steiner has not only uncovered the truth but has provided the evidence to prove it! It seems that the infamous 9/11 sermon delivered by Rev. Jeremiah Wright was actually inspired by the a former US Ambassador. According to both Stein and Wright, Ambassador Peck was interviewed by FOX NEWS in which HE talks about "America's chickens coming home to roost". And, when you see the video - it is quite evident that the words now attributed to Wright were actually the words of Ambassador Peck. In fact Wright calls this a "footnote" in his sermon!

What really galls me in all of this, is that FOX News is well aware of this - but they have buried the truth and knowingly taken Wright's sermon completely out of context and the other networks have followed right behind them. Just like the Pied Piper. Whatever happened to truth in journalism?

Oh yeah...Peck is the former US Ambassador to Iraq! What a coincidence!

I urge everyone reading this post to send an email - anything - to all of the major networks demanding that they report and not bury it. And most importantly, DEMAND THAT FOX NEWS REPORT FAIR AND BALANCED NEWS AND NOT LIES!

Let's flood them with emails and comments until they do the right thing! and start with Fox News: foxnewsonline@foxnews.com!

Obliged to you for hearing me, and now old Sojourner('s Place) ain't got nothing more to say.

Janet - I'm doing my best...thanks for dropping by! Help spread this word - hopefully if enough of us bring this to light - so will the networks!

Fox News successfully led the swiftboating of Kerry and they found there golden goose to do the same against Obama. The rest of the media willingly goes along with it because none of the liberal, they're all corporate, and they largely will look out for corporate interest.

I'll get on this as soon as I get a chance.

Yobachi - I agree with you. The other media outlets are not as liberal as they let on - unless it if profitable for them to be. I suspect that if they are voiced their true feelings they would be off the air and we would have to get our news via pony-express or smoke signals!

This is news to me.

The first time that I ever heard the remark about the chickens coming home to roost, was during a speech that Malcolm X gave about the outcome that America was setting itself up for among the international community. That was the end of the speech.

msladydeborah - it was news to me also. I've tried to find the Fox video, but nowhere to be found. I know that CNN is also looking for it based on what I heard today. But what is good is that CNN played the whole entire clip this evening. I'd like to think I had something to with that because I spent all day Friday and Saturday emailing major news media "encouraging" them to play it...sure I'm not the only one! Thanks for you post and for dropping by!

Your post made me happy in so many ways. It didn't seem credible to take the reports at face value, but the video was there to support them, making the experience of watching the video quite bizarre. Something had to be missing from the picture, but what? Now we know- the truth!

Best wishes, Jim
