Sojourner's Place

she did it again! did you catch it?

Posted by SjP in

Did what? Catch what? Who is she? Well, not to sound like a Hillary-hater - but. . .

In her very sly and conniving why, she was successful in calling for Obama to reject and denounce Minister Farrakhan's endorsement. Many folks might say that she was right in "forcing" this issue. That she was right to help "bring" this endorsement to the forefront. Because after all, we all know that she would NEVER knowingly or willingly seek the endorsement, recognition, or support from ANYONE like Farrakhan and/or anyone who associates with him.

But yet, Senator Clinton did not refuse to appear on the Tavis Smiley Show or to speak at the State of the Black Union or to allow her husband to sell his book latest book on the Covenant with Black America website. And we all know that Tavis Smiley has not - will not - and has never been asked by the Clintons or even PBS to renounce, reject, or dismiss his affiliation, endorsement, or recognition of Minister Farrakhan - because he (Farrakhan) has regularly appear at or on both!

So once again, Senator Clinton has played (some of) us like a harp. And she did it so well. And for your efforts, you were a no-cost (literally and figuratively) forum to campaign at the expense of African Americans! Like I said! She did it again!

Holla Back!

I would have liked to see Sen. Obama bring the endorsement of Bob Johnson in to question. Why is she not denouncing a man who's profiting off the degradation of black women and girls?
