Posted by SjP in ,

Got a good one for you this week. A "break up" cut with a whole lot of funk! Now, I know a little somethin' about Funk - unlike last week. So, here we go! The Ohio Players! "Girl put that suitcase down...you ain't leaving town...Still want you around! It's over! It's over now!"

Obliged to you for hearing me, and now old SjP ain't got nothing more to say.

I never knew the Ohio Players for their 'love songs'. My main memories of this group is the naked women on the album covers. Owww...Great pick. Have a great weekend.

Happy OSF! Ohio Players were definitely on jam back in the day. I haven't heard this particular cut for over 25 years it seems...

Thank you for visiting my break-up song for this week's OSF theme. I invite your blog readers to check out Randy Crawford if they have time or inclinaton.

Now you done turned me on to something! This isn't one of the OP songs I'm familiar with. That's what OSF is all about.

Have a good weekend Soror!

They just don't cry like that anymore, do they? lol...nice choice :)

This is a first for me, but I like it. I'm like Kim, I'm so use to their funk, that I didn't realize they had a soft side. I'm really feeling this cut.
