Sojourner's Place

old school friday...hip hop

Posted by SjP in ,

Now ya'll know old SjP don't know nothing about Hip Hop (old or new school). But, I do know that I likes me some Snoop Dog and Ice Cube. So if these two videos ain't Old School Hip Hop, tough! Enjoy them anyway {smile}!

Speak the Truth!

Obliged to you for hearing me, and now old SjP ain't got nothing more to say.

Yeah, this my type of music. This takes me back, because this was nothing but high school baby. I have some stories to tell. This is one of the best albums, it most definitely top 10 for me. I can just press play.

Oh No, not Ice Cube too. I made my husband an old school hip-hop tape with NWA and Ice Cube, and you know this song was on there. You put it down.

I love me some Ice Cube! Cube and Snoop were doing big things on the west coast for a while. I think this was snoop's best album.

Ya'll got me smiling from ear to ear over here at SjP's. This one was really hard for me and I was truly afraid that Ya'll would ban me from posting any more OSFs. Whew! Much obliged! Very much obliged!

Happy OSF! Excellent choices. I grew up in SoCal where Snoop Dog and Ice Cube both made their bones. They each became giants in the game...

Thank you for visiting my old school hip-hop choices for this week's OSF theme. I invite your blog readers to check out Gil Scot-Heron and The Last Poets if they have time or inclinaton.
