So they call George Bush "Curious George" - depicting the White man as a monkey. All the while the patient stealth racist sits and waits for the opportunity. And then it comes into his sites - a Black politician and a recent news story (any monkey related news story will do) about an ape up to no good. And he draws the two together into a parody. Any complaints and he pulls out his magic shield - all the cartoons depicting Bush as a monkey-man.

All this is transparently disingenuous patient opportunist stealth racism. Let’s name and shame them for what they are.

I'm SO with you on this! It's totally racist and disgusting. When the New Yorker put out it's Obama cover last year people were so quick to say it was satire, but allowing covers like that in main media magazines gives the OK for so-called comics like this one.

Sjp, This is pissing more off in so many ways. I'm glad that so many afrospear bloggers are posting on this. Revvy Rev. is right, black rage is boiling, I feel sorry for America if it boils over. The writing is on the wall. The media has to stop this frenzy, as do the American people.

The NY Post showed their true colors and black folks are mad, Eric Holder told the truth and white folks are mad. A majority white party is giving a black president a hard time. A black president is trying to make nice with white folks...just a regular day in America.
